Office Manager
Dr. Christian Volpicella, DDS grew up in NYC, spending time in Brooklyn and Staten Island during his formative years. From a young age, he loved working with his hands and considered a career in architecture before discovering dentistry when he volunteered at the NYU College of dentistry.
Dr. Volpicella graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and received his B.S. from Lehigh University. He spent 2 years at Staten Island University Hospital as a General Dentistry Resident. With more than 15 years in the profession, Dr. Volpicella is a cosmetic dentist with extensive experience in all phases of dentistry.
When Dr. Volpicella isn’t at the office, he enjoys running, golfing, and exercising. He plays the piano and enjoys going on culinary adventures with his wife.

Dr. Shakila Ziashakeri, "Dr. Shakila," is a board certified pediatric dentist. She grew up in Maryland and completed her bachelor's degree in biology at Salisbury University and earned her Master of Science in Cellular Biology degree at Towson University.
Dr. Shakila has worked as a researcher in genetics at Washington D.C's Children's Hospital. For years Dr. Shakila volunteered at different hospitals and dental offices where she found her passion for dentistry. She further continued her education by obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University. Dr Shakila then completed a year of general residency in New York and met her husband during that time.
Dr Shakila went on to complete her pediatric residency at Tufts University in Boston. After residency Dr. Shakila moved to Jersey City with her husband and has been practicing as a pediatric dentist in NJ and NY ever since.
When not in office Dr. Shakila enjoys spending time with her husband, exercising, drawing and painting.

Dental Hygienist
Our practice is passionate about conservative, minimally invasive, preventive dentistry that preserves healthy teeth. Once your new patient paperwork is taken care of, we’ll make sure you know where to find all patient amenities. Before too long one of our team members will bring you back. The team will update images as needed and provide a professional cleaning followed by an exam from the dentist. If any follow-up visits are required we can walk through every option and make cost estimates along the way.
Our treatment philosophy is driven by an understanding of the connection your oral health has to the rest of your body. We provide preventive and cosmetic dental treatments that help safeguard your teeth and your health long-term!

We have an iTero scanner that produces high-resolution colored images of your teeth for quick and highly accurate treatment planning.
